Provider: GamDNS (“we,” “us,” or “our”)
Customer: The individual or legal entity using GamDNS services, including as a site owner, domain registrant, email account holder, or DNS service user (“Customer” or “you”).
By using GamDNS services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Managed WordPress Hosting
1.1 GamDNS provides managed WordPress hosting, including core, themes, plugins, server configuration, backups, and security monitoring.
1.2 All hosting services must be prepaid. Non-payment may result in suspension until payment is received.
1.3 Storage usage is billed according to site size; exceeding limits may incur additional charges.
1.4 Hosting of large media files (audio, video) is not allowed; embed content from third-party platforms.
1.5 WordPress accounts must be properly configured to send and receive emails.
2. .GM Domain Registration
2.1 All .gm domains must be prepaid for one year.
2.2 Registration is subject to GM-NIC approval.
2.3 Registrant details must be accurate:
- Individuals: full legal name as on government ID
- Companies/organizations: full registered name
- Valid email (all correspondence must go to this email)
- Phone number and physical address
2.4 Domains must have correct nameservers pointing to GamDNS DNS services.
2.5 Domains must not be used for spam, malware, phishing, or illegal activity. Misuse may result in termination.
3. sTLD Domains (.law.gm, .blog.gm, .name.gm, .gam.gm, .sch.gm, .nam.gm, etc.)
3.1 All sTLD domains must be prepaid for one year.
3.2 GamDNS, as the registry, approves all registrations at its discretion.
3.3 Registrant details must be accurate (individuals or company/organization).
3.4 Domains must have correct nameservers pointing to GamDNS DNS services.
3.5 Misuse or inaccurate information may result in immediate suspension or termination.
4. Non .gm
4.1 All domains must be prepaid for one year.
4.2 Registration is subject to the rules and approval of the registry, the registrar used, and ICANN regulations.
4.3 Registrant details must be accurate.
4.4 Domains must have correct nameservers pointing to GamDNS DNS services (if hosted with us).
4.5 Domains must not be used for spam, malware, or illegal activity. Misuse may result in suspension or termination. 4.6 A service will be charge for non .gm domains.
5. Managed DNS Service
5.1 All domains hosted or registered with GamDNS must use GamDNS DNS services.
5.2 Services include nameserver management, zone file configuration, DNS record updates, and DNS security monitoring.
5.3 Customers are responsible for providing accurate DNS information.
5.4 Misuse may result in suspension or termination.
6. Managed Email Service
6.1 Accessible via Webmail and IMAP/SMTP.
6.2 Each account has a storage quota; exceeding it may block sending/receiving until addressed.
6.3 Accounts must be properly configured, and credentials kept secure.
6.4 Mass forwarding to third-party emails, email marketing, or newsletters is not allowed; internal forwarding within GamDNS is allowed.
6.5 Accounts must not be used for spam, phishing, or illegal activity.
6.6 Basic spam and virus filtering is provided; backup of critical emails is the customer’s responsibility.
7. TLS/SSL Certificates
7.1 All hosted domains receive TLS/SSL certificates via Let’s Encrypt, automatically renewed by GamDNS.
7.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring website compatibility with HTTPS.
7.3 GamDNS is not liable for issues caused by third-party scripts or misconfigurations affecting TLS/SSL.
8. Backups
8.1 GamDNS performs nightly backups of:
- WordPress sites and databases
- Email accounts
- DNS zones
8.2 Customers are responsible for maintaining local copies of critical data.
8.3 GamDNS cannot guarantee recovery from third-party plugin or script issues.
9. GamDNS Views – Website Analytics
9.1 GamDNS provides website analytics via GamDNS Views.
9.2 Analytics include traffic statistics and visitor behaviour.
9.3 Customer data is secure and accessible only to the site owner.
9.4 Data is for insight and reporting only; 100% accuracy is not guaranteed.
10. Service Uptime & Monitoring
10.1 GamDNS monitors websites, DNS, and email services for uptime.
10.2 Customers will be notified via email in the event of downtime.
10.3 GamDNS does not guarantee 100% uptime due to factors outside our control.
11. GamDNS Validity – TLS/SSL Monitoring
11.1 GamDNS monitors certificate validity via GamDNS Validity.
11.2 Customers are notified if certificates are approaching expiration or encounter issues.
11.3 GamDNS cannot be held liable for downtime caused by misconfigurations, third-party software, or delays beyond our control.
12. Pricing & Changes
12.1 GamDNS may update pricing at any time, with 30 days’ notice.
12.2 Renewals are billed at the current rate.
12.3 Prepaid services are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise.
13. Termination & Suspension
13.1 Services may be suspended for non-payment, rule violations, or misuse.
13.2 Customers may terminate services with written notice.
13.3 GamDNS may delete site or domain data 30 days after termination unless otherwise agreed.
14. Customer Responsibilities
14.1 Keep billing, registrant, and DNS information accurate and up to date.
14.2 Ensure website content complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.
14.3 Configure WordPress accounts and email properly.
14.4 Maintain local backups of critical data as needed.
15. Service Limitations
15.1 GamDNS cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to factors outside our control.
15.2 GamDNS is not responsible for third-party plugin or script failures.
15.3 GamDNS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
16. Governing Law
16.1 These terms are governed by the laws of The Gambia.
16.2 Disputes will be resolved in the courts of The Gambia.
By using GamDNS managed hosting, domain, DNS, email, TLS, backup, and analytics services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
